Drizzled with a generous amount of sweet matcha white chocolate sauce, my order of the Classic ($5.50 + a choice of topping) was paired with strawberries as recommended by the staff. Surprisingly well-matched, the juicy strawberries were a great addition as the pronounced tanginess of the yogurt seemed to have brought out the sweetness of the fruit. The tinge of tartness from the berries also balanced some of the grassy matcha flavour. And if like me, you dislike the lingering sour-ish aftertaste of yogurt, the matcha white chocolate sauce was able to make the combination more palatable. Though the sauce would most probably be too cloyingly sweet for some.
