One of the new limited seasonal special item on the menu, this pasta dish comes with a base of buckwheat fusilli pasta, along with a top layer of cheese that’s baked to an ideal golden brown perfection. Coupled with a generous ingredients of fresh, juicy prawns , crunchy broccoli, chewy shimeiji mushrooms, spinach, cherry tomatoes and a poached egg tucked beneath the thick blanket of melted cheese, the spicy cod roe cream sauce (aka. Mentaiko) was unfortunately a letdown, to which both my dining partner and I felt that it was tantamount to any other cream sauce dyed in pale shade of orange hue, lacking the characteristic savoury umami note and without any hint of spiciness as stated. Nevertheless, I do enjoy the assortment of other ingredients, typically the prawns and broccoli which added a pleasant crunch factor to the baked pasta, and not forgetting the blanket of melted, gooey mozzarella cheese for its a tangy piquant note .
