Call me slow but I have never been to @curiouspalette nor @wakeysg although they are helmed by the same team behind @strangersreu, a place that brings back pretty much memories where we would head to sometimes when we crave for a good lunch. Not forgetting the defunct Waffle Slayer right next door, where I really really miss their waffles.

Still the same delicious waffles from the good old days; can’t really find waffles this airy elsewhere that exudes a fragrant buttermilk aroma, which is why it’s still so memorable as ever after so many years. Except the fact that it was less crispy since it had to survive delivery. Served with maple syrup and fresh fruits. You can also choose other toppings such as yoghurt with fresh fruits, strawberry compote with yoghurt, or banana brûlée with wild berries compote.
