HeyTea’s signature cheezo tea. Knowing that the thick layer of cheese might be too cloying, I selected the Evergreen tea to go along with the cheese. I’ve to say, it was a challenge to sip the tea with the cup filled to the brim. I couldn’t get any tea out despite following the instructions. So I gave up and used a straw for the first sip of tea. Trust me, thereafter, the tips to drink the tea worked! I’d say, for fans of cheese, this might not necessarily be your thing. It isn’t as strong in flavour, but comes with the saltiness and creaminess if cream cheese. Midway through my drink, I thought it was too sinful and cloying. Thankfully, I made the smart decision to go with a really light tea as base. The thick layer of cheese came with a light sprinkle of matcha powder that serves no further purpose other than the aesthetics given how the cheese layer easily overpowers any powder sprinkles.
