Nevermind the creepy huge lizards on the wall that seem ready to leap into your steamboat and never mind the not so comfortable dining environment , the food here is all worth it.

The cuts of red snapper in the steamboat are so fresh and thick.

The soup is tasty with hints of tomatoes and plum and ginger .

The vegetables and yam add a delightful variety to the hot pot .

Portions seem to be slightly smaller now but that’s for the yam pieces and the vegetables - the fish cuts are still nice and generous so no complaints .

The only place that I would come for my fish steamboat .

For those of you who are sensitive to msg - just a note that there is still msg in this soup because I felt tightness in my jaw but having said that, which food establishment doesn’t use msg these days ? 🤣

This is my favourite place to come after kok Sen has since raised prices and received too much media attention 😊
