From 27 April to 30 June, the restaurants under the Crystal Jade Group will be showcasing promotional dishes and set menus to celebrate Parents’ Day, and reservations can be made online or at the various outlets. P

If you also prefer to dine in the comfort of home, there is the Crystal Jade’s six-course Special Take-Home Set ($188) for 5-pax that can be ordered in-store or online from 18 April to 30 June.

Like past years, there will be specially crafted dishes from each restaurant concept and from the fine-dining restaurants of Crystal Jade Palace, Golden Palace and Dining IN, you can indulge in dishes like the Deep-fried Monkey Head Mushroom with Honey Vinaigrette Sauce ($12.80) to the soul-comforting classic Honey Roasted Iberico Pork Char Siew with Crispy Lotus Roots ($32). We all love a good bowl of soup and that is no exception here with the Braised Sliced Sea Cucumber, Crab Meat, Fish Maw and Scallop in Golden Thick Broth ($46.80) that has Chinese Hua Diao Wine added to it and served in a hot stone pot with a crispy spring roll by the side. The hearty soup warms the heart and soul, making it a good opener to the followed-up dishes. Rounding up the dishes that we have tried from the fine-dining restaurants include the Steamed Chilean Cod Fish ($24.80), Sauteed Sea Prawns with Black Bean Garlic Sauce ($39.80) and Sizzling Celtuce with Fresh Lily Bulb and Sakura Shrimp ($26). Individual set menus ($98/$138) and set menus for six, eight and ten persons ($588-$1238) are also available.

From the casual dining concepts of Crystal Jade Hong Kong Kitchen, La Mian Xiao Long Bao and Jiang Nan, there is the Crispy Braised Duck Leg with Chef’s Special Sauce ($16.80) with a bone-in duck leg that has been first braised and then crisped up and paired with a spicy and tangy sauce, and the Fried Rice with Beetroot, Diced Chicken, Corn and Egg White ($18.80). There are also set menus for two to five persons ($38.80 and $58.80 per pax) and set menus for six, eight and ten persons ($228-$688).
