This popular JB cafe is the embodiment of peak cafe culture — gorgeous space with relaxed vibes and vibrantly-plated food; reminiscent of Melbourne. This 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗸𝗸𝗶𝗲 (RM$25) presented an intriguing marriage of flavours and elements.

Outside, tortilla sported a nice crisp, and the pomegranate rubble provided another fun layer to the texture. Inside, tomyum scrambled eggs peacocked a bright and piquant profile, which was deftly matched by the richness of melted cheddar, whilst a drizzle of sriracha aioli introduced a gentle spiciness — then a magic touch of tangy-sweetness from pomegranate balanced the bold heartiness.

Unlike Higher Ground (obviously an inspiration), I was not underwhelmed by the food — not amazing but pretty good, and considering the price tag, cafe lovers would love this place.
