After bidding goodbye to @Creamery_sg ‘s ondeh ondeh lava cookie with milo dinosaur ice-cream, say hello to Creamery’s first savoury cookie inspired by one of our top local favourites, the chilli crab (available only till end August)! The chilli crab lava is true to its taste, carrying strong savoury notes but without too much heat to overcomplicate the dish. The sweetness of the ice-cream has also been played down with the bread toast ice-cream mimicking mantous. Aside from the cookie, this is essentially mantou with chilli crab dip in dessert form. While I recognize the thoughts in the creation, it is definitely an acquired taste but is still worth a shot this National Day!
