Saw this rather hipster-looking Dim Sum stall at BGAIN130 coffeeshop in Jurong East (the same coffeeshop as Soi19 Thai Wanton Mee — it occupies the stall beside where Baba Melaka used to be) and decided to give it go. While they were rather generous with the prawns with each piece encasing a prawn, the Cheong Fun was prepared way back earlier and placed in the steamer until someone orders it. The result was still a rather smooth Cheong Fun, but too thick and lacks the whole slurpy touch. The Paus that they have in stock also look pretty lackluster here; probably left for a long time in the display steamer with no one ordering, the Paus had horridly wrinkly skin which isn't really physically appealing to say the least. Yikes.
