The refreshing English Cucumber Sandwiches and Salmon with Ikura, Fine Herbs on Pumpernickel were classics done right.

Moving to the sweets while sipping on a pot of TWG tea, my picks would be the Passion Fruit Mango Tart Sablé, Yuzu Casis Tart, and Chocolate Moelleux with Caramelized Pecans. The sweet-tangy Tart Sablé tasted fresh and fruity. The bits of desiccated coconut were a nice touch and worked nicely with the floral-like flavour of the mango. Similarly, the Yuzu Casis Tart was a zesty, tropical number with blushes of tanginess and a buttery-crumbly base. A little more rich and decadent, the Chocolate Moelleux with Caramelized Pecans was a foolproof two-bite snack with a chocolatey moist center. The Raspberry Religieuse was fairly good as well with the soft cream in the French choux bun pastry and fresh berries.
