Red wine sorbet with strawberry and chia seeds
.
Red wine was used to lower the freezing point and to make a soft sorbet. Chia seeds were used as they are rich in fibre and aid with digestion
.
I was expecting the sorbet to have a soft, creamy and smooth consistency. But after taking the first bite, I was a tad disappointed to find out the sorbet was rather icy and had a grainy texture
.
And also I couldn’t taste the strawberry flavour but instead could taste the red wine flavour which was quite subtle
