@ramen_keisuke has once again surprised us with a brand new fusion concept that focuses mainly on the well-liked Japanese Tonkatsu but with a slight spin. Nestled at the first floor of @payalebarsquare, Shiokoji Tonkatsu Keisuke serves the finest cut of breaded pork loin & tenderloin cutlets that are marinated with “shio koji”, a fermented rice seasoning ingredient which tenderises and enhances the umami flavours of food.

Even if you’re not into pork 🐷 that day, there are other popular options too, such as their Salmon Rare Tonkatsu. With a beautiful pink centre, I enjoyed the marriage of crunchy and melt-in-your-mouth texture. My only gripe was with the cutlets falling apart quite easily 😂.
