Singapore has no shortage of Izakayas, but IMO this newcomer can definitely go toe-to-toe with established names like Nobuya.

In true Japanese fashion, their food is high quality, but also priced reasonably. Such as this platter of tuna sashimi ($19.80 for 2 slices/ $29.70 for 3), which was immensely fresh — especially the beautifully rich and fatty otoro, that sensually dissipated when put into the mouth.

They also have a free flow alcohol option ($35/90min, $55/150min) for fellow functioning alcoholics to indulge in sakes and highballs along with the food.
