Gyu Kaku here is much cheaper than that in Singapore, and it offers all the familiar cuts I've had back home. This platter which includes premium wagyu karubi, wagyu nakaochi, wagyu kurashita chuck and premium marbled beef tongue costs only S$42!
We topped up with other meats, including an interesting beef karubi with cotton candy served sukiyaki style, cold noodles and affogato. The total bill for two was only S$90, when in Singapore I recalled paying close to S$300 for a birthday meal for two.
