Bakes and cakes are ready for sale at certain times of the day, and you have to catch it at the right moment before it sells out quickly. When we were there just slightly after lunchtime, all of the cakes were sold out and only a handful of bakes were left which we got the Pain au Chocolat ($4.50) and drinks to share. True to the patisserie’s reputation, the one bake that we have gotten already made us fans of it, as the flaky outer crust and the soft bite inside with the mildly sweet chocolate brings such a comforting feel to the experience. We can truly understand the hype about it now.
