An example of a hit and a miss. The chawanmushi might look gimmicky but it didn’t disappoint me in terms of flavour and mouthfeel. I also liked how there was a slight truffle fragrance in it which unlocked another level of “shiok” for me. But on the other hand, I was actually quite disappointed with their mentaiko cheese bruschetta. The fried youtiao was soggy and had this funky taste when slathered with their sauce. It’s probably just my tastebuds not being easily satisfied 🤭...
