I have never thought that these two can go so well with each other! Coffee waffle base with duck confit topped apple ribbon/ruffle and sunny side up, accompanied with “coffeed” maple syrup. So damn good. Waffle has a slightly heavier fluff and chewy texture to it, the way I like it. Nicely done. The “coffed” maple syrup just got me sold. Duck confit has all that flavour locked in, just the right tenderness and slightly crispy skin. Very nice.
