I also got an assortment of their Burnt Cheese Cruffins to try. Resembling a cheesecake-croissant hybrid, the classic Burnt Cheese Cruffin ($6) was best enjoyed after a quick pop in the oven. Warm and buttery, the pastry complemented the slightly sweetened burnt cheese custard that was hidden within nicely. Soft on the inside and wonderfully flaky on the outside. Noting that it does get cloying towards the end as there was a generous amount of custard.

For something sweet, the Tiger Cruffin ($6.50) is their take on brown sugar milk tea without the boba. Adding brown sugar into the mix, you would get the caramelized sweetness with the custard-like cheesecake interior. A little less flaky with the sugary glaze but the buttery bake was still pretty good after warming it up.
