Trekked my way down to Midview City after seeing that they have some pretty legit Taiwanese Braised Minced Pork Rice here. It's a relatively new eatery (5 months old) in the area with an evident Taiwanese vibe, though they do serve quite a variety of cuisines including Japanese and local cuisines.

It's a good bowl of Taiwanese Braised Minced Pork Rice here at $6.90; it only comes in a standard size here and while it's not the flavoursome ones that carry a punch in terms of flavour, it balances out pretty well without being too punchy — not too overpowering despite the lack of pickled greens. I am quite attracted to Braised Minced Pork Rice that carries bits of slow-cooked pork belly — the reason why I made my visit here; the meat being pretty tender and soft with a bite creating a multitude of textures in a single element alone. Personally, I thought that there was ample gravy but I wouldn't mind more for there was a few parts of rice left pretty much alone. The egg was not really up my alley however; felt odd being cold and gave a rather odd temperature contrast — like an attempt of ajitama gone a little wrong. That aside, it's actually good considering it's meant to serve the workers in the big complex that it is situated in, not to mention it's pretty comforting and hearty too.

PS: They seem to serve "Barista Coffee" here rather than sticking with the usual Kopi/Teh option — a cup of Hot Latte costs only $3.80 and is surprisingly decently pulled; the only qualm being the sort of coffee beans that they use which did not feel particularly "specialty". But looking past that, I am actually pretty satisfied!
