The newly revamped crystal jade at holland village is modern and bright .

The menu may have shrunk a little but not the quality or taste .

I must confess that I am not a supporter of chain restaurants because they are typically over priced and the quality of food is typically meh~

But left with little choice on a weekday evening at holland village , I decided to give crystal jade a chance and BOY! Was this roasted chicken so extremely perfectly roasted .

So crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside.
And the best thing is that this chicken was accompanied with 4 different dipping sauces / condiments which just heightens up everything.

Better still - for this huge portion of half chicken at 15 dollars plus - seriously ?????

It was anytime more worthwhile than soup kitchen’s tiny Winy thin slices of poached chicken .
