This hit all the right notes for a beef stew – hearty, comforting with tender beef and soft chunks of carrots, perfect for dunking the accompanying garlic bread. Only qualm was that it was a tad too salty. We did inform the staff so hopefully they’ll tweak the recipe slightly.
