Tucked at an unassuming shophouse along Kandahar Street in Kampong Glam, @richandgoodcakeshop certainly lives up to its “name”. Famous for its Swiss rolls, the signature flavour is Kaya while the bestsellers are Durian and Mango. Other flavours include Strawberry, Blueberry, Orange, Coffee, Chocolate and Green Tea with Red Bean.

$8 for a 30cm freshly baked Swiss roll might sounds pricey but I think it’s still pretty worth it! The sponge cake itself was soft, fluffy and moist. The ratio of filling to cake was just nice too, but I wish it packed a stronger punch in green tea flavour. If I’m back in that area again, I’ll love to try their Durian Swiss rolls!
