It was our second time here using the Burpple Beyond deal and this time round we got for ourselves the Sausage Trio ($25.90) and Roasted 1/2 Duck Bavarian Style ($24.90) to share. Being a German restaurant, they definitely have to serve some kick-ass sausages, and that was pretty evident as we wiped the sausage dish clean. Served with two roasted Nürnberger sausages, a Bavarian white Bratwurst sausage and a grilled red pork sausage, it was a meat fest joined by a bed of sauerkraut and mash potatoes with dark beer sauce. The German sausages are by far much better, in my opinion for now, than other country’s versions as the marination in the meat down to the outer casing makes it so enjoyable. Paired with that creamy mash, crispy onions and tangy sauerkraut to cut through all the heaviness of the dish, makes the Sausage Trio a must-order when here.

The roasted duck took both of us by surprise as we didn’t expect it to be so juicy seeing that it looks kinda dry from the initial impression. Oven roasted before being served, the duck comes in a massive portion, even though it’s just 1/2 of a whole duck.
