Excited to learn that this fairly new bakery is very accessible from home for me. While I wouldn't travel from east to west I come here, I had a good experience here eating my Kouign Amann ($3.50 nett), drinking an espresso, & writing Christmas cards.

Despite sitting at the innermost table, ventilation & air-conditioning was enough to stay cool. The bread itself was delicious - flaky & buttery, with a great sugar glaze that wasn't sickeningly sweet. I would order it again. The espresso ($3.00 nett) I ordered was decent.

Staff were polite & friendly. & I was offered a glass of water when I placed my 2nd order (because I sat for so long haha), which I thought was a nice gesture. Free WiFi here is a bonus too if you're looking for somewhere to get some work done - although there are only a few tables, so make sure you don't table hog for too long.
