For the price point, I glad they gave a good portion of pasta, prawns and mussels. I was so full after! You had the option to choose either spaghetti or fusilli for this dish and I chose spaghetti, which wasn’t a bad choice. However, I couldn’t taste much laksa flavour in this dish; it was creamy, thick, but overall a flavour that was hard to dissect. I couldn’t taste the coconut essence which you would normally taste in laksa, nor the spiciness you’d expect from this. Despite the disappointment in not tasting what I’d expecting, I still enjoyed the attempt at this laksa fusion dish. I would probably get this again if I return, but request for a higher spiciness level if possible! It is still definitely worth a try if you come here. But I must say that I used the #burpplebeyond deal, which made this meal more affordable and worth it for me. Also, I was pretty sad that you could no longer choose your handmade pastas here, apparently because they shifted this concept to their new restaurant Tipo. I wonder why they can’t do it in both Tipo and Co-op, it’ll give Co-op customers something so much more to look for!
P.S. Made a reservation but restaurant was pretty empty before the dinner crowd at 7pm. Also, the service staff were really lovely!
