Major love for Hiap Joo’s banana cakes ever since I first tried them. Yesterday's weather was super hot in JB but it was all worth it! When it's hot out of the oven, it has this lovely toasty thin crisp layer on the top of its light, moist sponge but I find it most shiok after it's cooled and left overnight. The banana flavours become even more pronounced, slightly more dense but still fluffy as ever!
