Like so many bright green domino tiles, double fans of avocado slices were spread out on a large slice of rustic sourdough in such a visually pleasing arrangement I was loathe to eat them. Fresh, ripe and creamy, the avocado worked well with the chewy bread and salty feta on the side, and the charred garlic confit tomatoes were practically bursting with umami. If you want a healthy yet flavoursome breakfast, this would be my top choice at Brawn & Brains.
