After reading my post in Lim's Fried Oyster, one of my 师兄s commented that it is "not solid enough" and recommended this stall at Lao Zhong Zhong Eating House instead. Needless to say, I needed no further invitation.

I guess this can be described as a hidden find because there is very little information or reviews on this stall. I am also not sure if Google got the name of the stall right too.

The first thing you will notice is their oysters of course. Though they are as plump as Lim's XXL sized korean oysters, they are big, fat and juicy in their own right. Their flour batter though is way better. It is a lot less greasy and much more savoury and crispy.

To be honest, both are great renditions but between the two, I kinda prefer Meng Kee as their flour batter is tastier and its closer to home!
