We were given samples of this particular tea, which is their signature and bestseller apparently! Was quite shocked when I was told that the sample was of 100% sugar level, because it actually wasn't that diabetes-inducing.

The taste of the freshly brewed tea was quite strong and fragrant in this, and i thought that the tea+fresh milk balance was quite on point.

However, I eventually settled for 50% sugar level with konjac jelly topping (essentially white pearls) and was kind of glad that I didn't go with 100% because I think the jelly is soaked in syrup so it adds to the sweetness of the drink. I wished they were more flexible with the customisation of the drink, because no matter how I insisted, they refused to let me have my drink without ice 😐
