so she found a place on eatigo at ulu yuan ching. but upon reaching, we realized the buffet more value than the discounted eatigo price, and so we opted for the premium steamboat buffet.

soups were served in individual pots and the mushroom flavour was alright. average. the chicken flavour tasted weird, so we requested to change it to the pork flavour and it tasted as weird as well.

and while we were ranting about the soup, the ingredients arrived and the quality was actually quite power. the beef was sliced thinly and the nice beefy yet not overpowering taste was there. hokkaido scallops were plump and juicy.

other good stuff include the lala, pork belly and prawns. with these ingredients and other supporting vegetables like radish and corn, we were able to modify our soup to a more palatable one. hence, the only remaining gripe is the location but the budget makes up for it.
