This is evidence that a good durian dessert beats eating pure durians freshly opened from their husks.

The chef's creativity in using pandan was genius - firstly it creates the green hues to resemble the durian husk; and secondly the light aromatic pandan smooths out the strong taste of durian. The pandan could hold its own in this plate, so you get two flavours here - distinctively pandan and distinctively durian.. yet they complement each other really well.

Definitely, order this if you're only going to choose one dessert. If you want to order two desserts, consider the rock melon ice cream with winter melon foam and melon sago as well, or just order two of this Durian Alaska, cos it's really that good.
