Joined the queue for Shake Shack yesterday to give their burgers, cheese fries and milkshake a try. I wouldn't say I would do a 1 hour 40min wait on anything but there was not any regrets being there after tasting their burgers. While the ShackBurger is the more standard fare there being a Cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and ShackSauce in between potato buns, the SmokeShack was the true stunner with its smoky Applewood-smoked bacon and spicy chopped cherry pepper that gave the well-sized and well-proportioned burger more flavour. The Cheese Fries are as awesome; crinkle-cut fries drenched in a slightly stringy cheese dip that isn't nacho cheese sauce-esque heavy, while the Vanilla milkshake was smooth and dense without being extra frothy nor being too sweet. Would certainly go for it again, but perhaps when the queue dies down a little.
