A deceivingly simple platter of Fried Chicken Wings ($10), Dee Tongue Thai by Rung Mama’s version was more than decent. Fried to golden perfection, the batter was surprisingly light and remained crisp throughout the meal. The meat within was also immensely tasty and succulent. So good! Not forgetting the small pile of chunky crinkle cut fries which similarly was well-executed. Both studded with sesame seeds, the resulting flavour, fragrance and extra bit of crunch in every bite was the icing on the cake.
