4.5 munchies: So glad that I finally got to try this plate of greasy goodness at one of Julius' #TastyTastemakerTour stops this afternoon. If you like your chai tow kway black and dam dam (moist), then do join in the 20-minute waiting line!

The wok hei was absolutely strong in the softly moist radish cakes; fried with sweet dark sauce and chilli. The $5 plate featured here gives you squid and prawns, but the carrot cake was good enough to be eaten on its own with generous amounts of eggs, chye por (preserved radish) and garlic. No wonder they say black is gold! #Burpproved
