With origins from Sin Kee, the famous chicken rice at Margaret Drive, this stall is now run by Ms Cheong, whom is one of the apprentices of Mr Niven Leong, the son of the original founder of Sin Kee, and she has taken over the reins from the previously named Uncle Chicken Rice to now Sin Kee Simpang Bedok.

By learning from the master chicken rice, himself, Ms Leong has now perfected the Sin Kee recipe and original taste which you can now get it at The Bedok Marketplace.

This plate of chicken rice ($3.90) has the makings of being a great one with the fragrant ginger garlic infused rice, the condiments of ginger and garlic and the spicy chilli sauce. The poached chicken is lightly drizzled with a soya sauce mixture upon serving to give it a nice umami savouriness to the overall flavour.
