I didn't know what to make of this when I first saw it, but the first bite was enough to make me a convert. Stewed turnip and a piece of crabstick is wrapped in a thin layer of slightly soggy seaweed, which I barely noticed. What elevates this from your normal popiah is the mayo and sweet chilli sauce that tops the roll along with a slice of prawn. The unusual combination of all the ingredients worked surprisingly well as a whole.
