Christmas Day might be over but this Christmas Canelé from Le Canelé d'Or is here to stay for at least a good while.

Out of all the flavours of canelés available (2nd picture, L to R) - Christmas Stollen (cinnamon, roasted hazelnut and rum), Framboise (raspberry and brandu), Traditional (vanilla bean and dark rum), Ondeh Ondeh (fresh pandan and gula melaka), and Hazelnut (chocolate and chopped hazelnuts) - my favourite is surprisingly the Christmas one! Love the frosting and mixed fruits on the top that compliment extremely well with the components of cinnamon, hazelnut and rum within the canelé. No kidding when I say I could eat a couple of these on my own!

So with regards to canelés, I tried one at a pretty reknowned patisserie in Japan but left unimpressed. The ones at @lecaneledorsg, however, are very impressive! If you have never had a canelé, you must order the ones from here! Two other standout flavours to me would be the Ondeh Ondeh and Hazelnut, but every single flavour generally is really well done. 😍

The canelés here come in 3 sizes: cocktail ($1.80/pc), medium ($3.50/pc), and grand ($5.50/pc). The Christmas Canelé in the first image is a grand size, so you could roughly assume how big it is. There are gift boxes available on their website and you can make your orders and collect the following day fresh from the oven! Don't hesitate and go order yours now!

The boutique outlet of Le Canelé d'Or is located at The Concourse Skyline at Beach Road (nearest MRT is Nicoll Highway) and has a dine in space if you'd like to enjoy some canelés immediately in comfort. 😊

Shoutout to @lecaneledorsg for hosting me at their boutique cafe for their stunning and delectable canelés! 💙
