The Communal Place has a nice interior with spacious wooden tables and random we bare bears plushies sitting on some tables HAHA. Went there on a Sat evening and there were only 2 other tables occupied. I feel that it’s underrated tbh because all the dishes were enjoyable and plated nicely :-(( Food was served v quickly too β€” I think we only waited for like 10 mins. Here’s what we had, clockwise starting from the biggest picture:

Nice and tender. Had it medium well. Beef cuts vary everyday; mine was US striploin. Read that another burppler had sirloin. They both look the same nonetheless.

Bouillabaisse is a French seafood stew but I would say that it’s more like a seafood bisque to me. Quite generous servings of mussels (6), baby octopus (3?), fish (2 small chunks) and prawn (2?). Bouncy octopus and prawns.

Nice. 4 medium-sized ribs. Corn was fragrant!!

Linguine topped with an onsen egg. Pieces of beef cheek, though little both size and qty wise, were soft and enjoyable.

Salmon was skillfully cooked. Flaky and juicy. Um the miso sauce though, tasted dubiously similar to the bouillabaisse o_o (edit: the sauce is not supposed to be miso but is a bouillabaisse foam. Miso -> miso glazed salmon damn hahahaha I’m a noob)

Ordered a glass of the welcome drink that they served after we sat down bc it was that nice. Slightly fizzy with pomelo pulp. But the one we ordered sadly didn’t taste as nice.

Using beyond, the bill added up to $82 after service charge and gst. Water was FOC. Would recommend this place!!!! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ
