With a brand-new refreshed menu, Dôme Cafe aims to emphasis and bring more attention to the use of good produce to create crowd-pleasing pastas, sandwiches and salads. And seeing the change, do expect simple as well as whole new offerings on the concise menu. Sharing the Spicy Italian Pork Sausage Pasta ($22) and crusty Dôme Chili Chicken ($16), the unanimous favourite was the former for its stronger flavours and heartiness. A substantial portion, the al dente linguine was brought to life by the spiced sauce and well-seasoned sausage chunks. Not all that spicy, the nicely browned Italian Pork sausage was the highlight for me as they were both tender and juicy. Though a tad oily at the end, be sure to give it all a good toss together with the sweet-tangy cherry tomatoes, green peas, garlic confit and chopped chives.
