Hidden at Morse road is this cozy minimalistic styled cafe @fuelplussg, that has an extensive menu of eggs and brunch, as well as fusion pastas and mains. Trust me, it’s worth the effort to hunt for good food.

I am not a cream pasta lover, but I was in the mood for some tom yum seafood pasta so I decided to take a risk even when the description stated that it was creamy tom yum sauce. Pleased that the fettuccine was tossed in the slightly spicy tom yum sauce, and not soaked in it. Especially palatable when the sauce coats the fettuccine, but lacking a stronger hint of herbs like lemongrass, therefore a little disappointed with the tom yum flavour I was looking out for. They were pretty generous with the amount of mussels, white clams and prawns.

My friend had the pork chop and sweet potato mash, where a spice-marinated pork chop was served, but I found it a tad too hard from the char grilling. The mushy sweet potato was surprisingly appetizing; a subtle natural sweetness from the sweet potato that helped to balance the heavy meatiness.
