The first sushi of their sushi omakase ($180) was golden eye snapper which is famed for its sweet, delicate flavor. This sushi was perfectly aburi-ed over charcoal, and had just the lightest hand of soy sauce. It was so delicious; not too fatty, and the faint smoky flavor was just sufficient enough to release the natural flavors of the fish.

The chef was nice enough to give me less sushi rice with my sushi since we were worried about being too bloated. I was delighted; my satiety levels were just perfect after the entire omakase.
