Keong Saik Bakery 01/08/19
Matcha Almond Croissant ($3.90)
- Really buttery
- Strong matcha fragrance and yet only subtly sweet at the top, complements the rich buttery pastry
- Croissant was very crunchy, moist interior
- Very enjoyable to eat, feels quite light due to the matcha tea cutting through the pastry
- Not an airy croissant but dense and filled with matcha filling/cream
Price: 7/10 (Typical price)
Taste: 9/10
Overall: 8/10 (Worth a try if you like matcha)

Ihyo ($8)
- 'Matcha cheese mousse, Lime curd, Black Sesame Dacquoise, Black sesame cookie base'
- Sweet and tangy cheese mousse, strong matcha fragrance, very light and smooth
- Buttery strong black sesame cookie base. Buttery base helps to balance out some of the tangy cream cheese, but the cream cheese was still too strong for me
Overall, it tasted more like a matcha cream cheese cake. Base was either too thin or the cream cheese was too much to counter-balance one another. The black sesame was overwhelmed by the other elements of the cake.
Price: 6/10
Taste: 5/10
Overall: 5/10 (Will not order this again)

Pecan Tart ($5.50)
- 'Pecan, Honey, Brown sugar, Short crust pastry'
Sweet, sticky, loaded with pecans for more earthy notes; Didn't feel that it was overly sweet
Think the tart could have been thicker as the filling kind of overwhelmed the tart
Tastes exactly as how it is described.
Taste: 8.5/10

Kopi O Kosong ($1.70)
Always love the thick and strong coffee here
