These mooncakes are beautiful, and I knew I needed all-white styling elements to accentuate their colours here – a beautiful indigo canvas with brushstrokes of white for the blue pea flower mooncake topped with blue pea flower petals, and the other looking auspicious in pretty shades of red and white.

Within the blue pea flower mooncake lies the traditional white lotus seed paste and melon seeds fillings, while the red and white mooncake came with smooth almond beancurd paste complemented with juicy longan bits that add texture. And I liked this flavour, and I believe by many Goodwood fans too since it is back by popular demand since first introduced in 2010 as part of the hotel’s 110th year anniversary celebration.
