There isn’t any queue. Perhaps the hype has die down or it could be a Saturday morning?
In other wards, we got our bowl pretty fast! As for my thoughts, The Char Siew(pork belly) was indeed the Star of the bowl. Fatty, succulent and really nice charred aftertaste! The noodles are typical HK style but smooth, tasty and kinda have a ‘Mee hoon’ feel. Wantons were chunky, solid and not the typical taste. The soup was slightly different too... although I read it is boiled with chicken, it does have a fish soup kinda taste.. Overrall if there’s a reason to be here, it’s the char Siew that I’m really impress.. 🔹
