It’s worth the penny but the buckwheat soba is a tad too underwhelming. It’s kind of dry and lumpy. But the thick salmon slices did help this poke bowl to gain some brownie points. On a side note, the $2 salmon soup is actually the main savior of the day! Essentially packed with sweet umami flavors and truckloads of salmon bits, konbu, tofu and more. Alternatively from the buckwheat soba, go for their yuzu brown rice!

Ps/ I’ve tried it the second time with yuzu brown rice! It’s amazing!
