Finally visited this tiny “hole in the wall” cafe at Maxwell House and my first impression was how tiny the cafe was, followed by how extensive the menu was for such a tiny space! Everything is prepared in their tiny kitchen. Beverages were served quite quickly, and they did provide water for us (such a rarity in post-covid times) but It took quite a while for our food to be cooked. Despite that, the food was really good!

The omelette crepe is a unique combination with smashed avocado, sautéed spinach and a choice of smoked salmon or sautéed mushrooms. The toast was a bit of a letdown as there was way too much butter slathered on it, but it didn’t melt, seep into and crisp up the bread when toasted. It’s okay though, was totally fine with the dish without the bread actually.

I would return again for sure to support this small homely cafe!
