Of meat that is. Because when at Nanbantei, I can't help but go a bit cray-cray when ordering all manners of grilled chicken, pork and beef.
This provided a zen-like moment before the onslaught of meats where I got to lose myself in the natural sweetness of the clams. Having them simmered in a delicate sake broth was the right decision.
