🙏🏻 *Fingers Crossed* with this feast at the place proclaiming to serve the Wagyu of Ducks – Signature London Roast Duck ($16.80 - Regular), Hong Kong Crackling Pork Belly ($13.80), Hong Kong Egg Tart ($4.30), Crispy London Duck Snow Bun ($4.80)

While the justly succulent duck adopts the Hong Kong style of roasting, with a worthy layer of fat underneath that crisp glory skin – it wasn’t as impressive as I imagined. Perhaps I went with high expectations but I wasn’t a fan of the excessive amount of oil (especially when it was served cold), which I believe could be reduced without affecting the flavours. The crackling, on the other hand, had a fair amount of fat ratio I prefer but then again I've had cheaper & much better options at many stalls right across the border. Not to mention the measly portion at that price. No comments on their egg tarts, recommend you give those a miss. Snow buns were respectable, very much similar to the ones from Tim Ho Wan, would be perfect with a generous filling. Overall, not a place I’ll return anytime soon but that’s just me, try it for yourself! For me, I simply can’t wait for Kam’s Roast Goose to wing its way here next. Or I can always wish my exchange application's a success 🍀
