I don’t run on coffee but I do enjoy coffee-flavoured desserts and PPP Coffee's Spro Soft Serve ($6.50) was certainly a treat as it was both smooth and creamy. Perfectly flavoured, the swirls were not too cloying. The aftertaste was pleasant as well, as the distinct astringency of the espresso was gently masked with a delicate milky sweetness. Paired with almond brittles and granola (with dried cranberry) bits, the added textures were very much welcomed and the nuttiness of the toppings worked brilliantly with the soft serve twirl. The crunchy morsels with their snappy textures and fragrance also balancing out the intensity of the yummy blend.
