Mystery fillings within each choux puff, it all boils down to your luck! 😉 Available in 5 different flavours, I was lucky enough to have gotten the HOUJICHA flavour! 💛 Specially crafted by @damien_tc at @bemyguestcafe ‘s previous pop up II, the freshly baked choux puff comes with an interior of houjicha cream filling that oozes out mercilessly. Intricately plated with a fine dining-alike elements of assorted berries, pomegranate seeds, tuile, sponge cake cubes and garnished with mint leaves, the latter is recommended to be eaten after finishing the choux puff as a refreshing palate cleanser. The houjicha cream is smooth, slightly creamy, coming with a distinct roasted flavour and pleasant lingering aroma. A pleasant companion to the choux puff that came with a crisp, crusty exterior and a soft, pillowy interior. Though this is available only at the previous pop-up, I am certainly looking forward to other new special & surprise creations for the pop up III today (20th October)✨ .
